Job Scope
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Identify hazards, unsafe conditions/behaviours and recommend practical control measures.
- Support incident and near-miss investigations and ensure closure of action items.
- Assist in Permit-To-Work (PTW) and Safety Induction Course (SIC) checks and trainings.
- Support risk assessment reviews and documentation checks (e.g. Method Statements, competency certificates).
- Coordinate with employees and contractors to ensure compliance with company safety rules and legal requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and support safety campaigns and awareness activities.
- Report non-compliance and support rectification with relevant departments.
- Stop unsafe work when necessary.
- Perform any other safety-related duties assigned.
Requirements
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering or related fields
- Safety & Health related training preferred (e.g. Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health - Workplace Safety Level B)
