Job Description:
- Site Inspection & Enforcement: Conduct regular on-site safety audits, identify hazards, and enforce compliance with WSH standards. Strengthen safety culture of our workforce and ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Risk Management: Assist in developing Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for high-risk activities.
- Permit-to-Work Administration: Review and approve permit-to-work systems for high-risk operations like lifting and hot work.
- Safety Training: Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and specialized training for workers and subcontractors.
- Incident Investigation: Lead accident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all works comply with MOM (Ministry of Manpower) guidelines or local statutory requirements.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Act as the key liaison between workers and management regarding safety concerns and improvements.
- Report: Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all workers comply with site safety requirements and maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WSH role
- Supervise Construction Work for WSH (BCSS) certification
- Work at Height (WAH) Supervisor Certification
- Completed Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (AWP) or equivalent
- Familiarity with Singapore WSH Act & Regulations
- Knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation
- Lifting Supervisor Certification
- First aid and emergency response training
- Possess WSQ Certificate in WHS qualification and other related safety certifications
- Full knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
Working Conditions:
- Requires significant time on construction sites (exposed to heat, noise, and hazardous conditions).
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) continuously.
