Safety Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance of operations within Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Implement, monitor and maintain appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
• Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations
• To advise, lead, coordinate, train, create awareness for workers on latest WSH topics and safety requirements.
• Prepare, Check, Implement and Conduct - Risk Assessment and Management Plan
• Conducts regular site checks and takes appropriate corrective actions
• Compiles all relevant safety reports,records and to carry out daily safety inspection
• Able to read, interpret and implement relevant Singapore WSH legislations, Singapore Standards, Codes of Practices and guidelines proficiently.
• Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned by company

Requirements

. Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutions

. Proficient in MS Office

. Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry

. Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability

. Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment

. Able to start work on short notice
