Assist the WSH Manager in identifying and assessing workplace risks.
Conduct site safety inspections and enforce compliance with prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.
Organize and support Safety Committee meetings, safety events, and campaigns.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings to highlight safety issues and preventive measures.
Supervise and address all workplace safety, health, and environmental control matters.
Ensure proper documentation, permits, and licenses related to workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance are maintained and up to date.
Conduct periodic WSH cross inspections across sites to ensure adherence to government safety regulations and industry standards.
Assist in conducting safety training and briefings (e.g., familiarization with standardized Risk Management procedures) for site teams to promote safety awareness and statutory compliance.
Identify unsafe acts or practices and take prompt corrective actions to eliminate hazards.
Perform any other duties assigned in relation to workplace safety, health, and environmental matters.
Job Requirements
Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B) (Environment, Health, Safety) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in WSH or related field.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, health, and environmental control.
Proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of initiative.evel of initiative.
