Rust Developer Trading System Engineer (Crypto | Singapore)

A leading crypto trading firm in Singapore is seeking a Trading System Engineer to help build and scale the core infrastructure that powers electronic trading operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency, high-throughput trading systems.
• Build and maintain connectivity with on-chain exchanges and protocols.
• Develop core components for execution, order management, and market data.
• Optimize system performance for speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with traders and quants to turn ideas into production systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience building low-latency trading systems.
• Proficiency in Rust, with exposure to TypeScript, Python (C++ a plus).
• Strong knowledge of crypto markets, blockchain fundamentals, and exchange APIs.
• Skilled in performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability.

Nice-to-Have

• Passion for crypto and blockchain ecosystems.
• Experience in automated or high-frequency trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with financial market structure.
