Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Platform & AMR Engineer to lead the integration, deployment, and field operation of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) across commercial and smart-building environments. This role bridges robotics software, hardware, networking, and physical infrastructure-connecting AMRs directly with lifts, automatic doors, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities

. Deployment & Commissioning: Execute site mapping, navigation routing, waypoint setup, and operational parameter configuration conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment validation on-site.

. Systems Integration: Interface multi-vendor AMR platforms with centralized orchestration middleware, IoT devices, and smart-building infrastructure (lifts, doors, turnstiles) via REST APIs, MQTT, and WebSockets.

. Software & Tooling: Utilize ROS/ROS2 within Linux (Ubuntu) environments to configure sensors, debug navigation modules, analyze system logs, and develop utility scripts in Python or C++.

. Navigation & Fleet Diagnostics: Configure SLAM, LiDAR sensors, local/global path planning, and auto-docking conduct systematic hardware, software, and TCP/IP network troubleshooting.

. Operations & Documentation: Monitor active AMR fleet health, investigate field incidents, conduct preventive maintenance, and maintain deployment architecture, network logs, and user guides.
