Job Description
- Actively work with the team in developing and delivering the planned objectives according to schedule.
- Build from scratch or improve existing robot or AI application features.
- Ensure the safety of human personal and robot according to standards.
For mechanicalroles, tasks will involve the end-to-end design and development of robotic hardware.
- Conceptualization, Detailed design, Prototyping, Testing & validation, Iteration & refinement, Preparation for production.
- Close collaboration with the electrical and software teams is essential to ensure proper integration of wiring, sensors, and control components.
- Oversee assembly, testing, and iterative improvements to achieve robustness, safety, and manufacturability
For electrical and electronics roles, tasks will involve the design, integration, and testing of electronic systems for robotic platforms.
- Developing power distribution systems, motor drivers, and sensor interfaces.
- Designing and assembling custom PCBs.
- Selecting and integrating appropriate sensors, actuators, and control hardware.
- Ensuring system reliability, safety, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Debugging wiring and connection issues, working closely with the software and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration.
For software roles, tasks will involve the development and implementation of software for robotic platforms based on the ROS2 framework.
- Designing algorithms for robot perception, navigation and control.
- Developing data acquisition, processing, and storage systems.
- Integrating software with sensors, actuators, and electrical/mechanical subsystems.
- Understand faade inspection, subsequently develop applications to optimize the recording, analysis, and reporting of faade inspections, ensuring efficient workflows and accurate data capture.
- Debugging, testing, and iterating on both simulation and real-world deployments, working closely with mechanical and electrical teams to achieve reliable, safe, and high-performing robotic systems.
- In future, AI & Machine Learning for Faade Defect Detection. Develop and implement computer vision models to automatically identify defects from thousands of high-resolution faade images captured by the robot.
- Application development. Experience with cloud computing platform.
Requirements:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills. Able to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines.
- Diploma or degree in relevant fields.
- Proficient in software related to your roles.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in iterative development cycles.
- Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies as projects evolve.
- Understanding of safety standards and best practices in robotics or industrial environments.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed too.
Addition advantages:
- Share with us your prior experience in robotics projects, autonomous systems, or AI applications.
- Experience in high-rise faade inspection.
- Exposure to safety standards like ISO 10218 (robots) or IEC 61508 (electrical safety).
