About the role

This position will be part of the Treasury (Middle Office) team monitoring and assessing the market risk related to commodity trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Independent assessment and valuation of commodity trading commitments
• Compliance reporting of commodity risk related to trading activities
• Monitor and risk assessment of commodity trading activities
• Provide accurate exposure reporting to managementin terms of daily positions and daily P&L report analysis
• Monitor positions, trades and other risk measures against trading limits
• Validate, analyse market prices & maintain database of market price of commodities for use in MtM and P&L calculation
• Participate in system related projects or issues
• Implement improvement for system and process gaps
• Daily interface with Trading, Operations, Chartering and Finance

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in
• Business/Economics/Finance/Accounting/Mathematics
• 3-5 years of working experience in similar role and physical commodities
• LPG, Freight, Fuel Oil, Carbon, Electricity, Storage MtM
• Advanced working knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel
• Independent and responsible,
• Strong numerical and analytical skills,
• Strong communication,
• Attention to detail,
• Process oriented
