Risk Control Intern - LNG

Description

• Support daily monitoring and reporting of LNG and Biomass market and credit risk exposures.
• Assist in the analysis of risk indicators, limit utilization, P&L drivers, and portfolio exposures.
• Contribute to the preparation of risk committee materials, governance reports, and management presentations.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks within LNG and Biomass portfolios.
• Support the review and enhancement of risk control processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Interact with Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to risk policies and controls.
• Assist in investigating risk events and control breaches, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
• Participate in strategic projects related to risk governance, reporting automation and digitalization, and process improvement initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques.
• Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize findings into meaningful insights.
• Interest in commodity markets, energy trading, LNG, and renewable fuels such as biomass.
