Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive risk management initiatives by designing, implementing, and monitoring control policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assess business impact, and advise on appropriate actions or regulatory responses.
- Develop, promote, and oversee the implementation of risk management and compliance policies in line with regulatory requirements and the Group Risk Management Framework.
- Promote a strong risk management and compliance culture through awareness initiatives and training programmes.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management and regional offices on compliance status, risk management initiatives, and progress.
- Manage and maintain Business Continuity Management, perform AML/CFT screening, and undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in risk management or compliance functions.
- CGI qualification or equivalent insurance-related certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated capability in designing and implementing effective risk control measures.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including AML/CFT requirements.
- Proven experience in regulatory interpretation and compliance documentation preparation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
