JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our Regional Risk and Compliance team based in Singapore on a 6-month temporary basis. The successful candidate will support the Regional Risk & Compliance department in ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in compliance and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk and Compliance Accountabilities

  • Provide administrative support to Compliance program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support Regional Risk Manager in the development and embedding of risk management framework across Asia.
  • Support with ad-hoc research and analysis on regulatory requirements, internal group requirements and other relevant rules across the region.
  • Proactively engage with local compliance teams across Asia to gather jurisdiction-specific Risk and Compliance updates.
  • Facilitate risk and control assessments across the region
  • Maintenance and preparation of the region's risk register for Regional Risk Manager Review.
  • Assist in preparing technical input and guidance to help Regional Risk and Compliance team respond effectively to business queries ensuring alignment with group standards.
  • Manage reporting timelines by tracking submission schedules, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring updates are received and submitted to Regional Risk Manager in a timely and accurate manner

Reporting & Documentation

  • Support the preparation of reports for committees and forums
  • Attend committees and forums as required to provide administrative support not limited to minutes taking and following up on action points.
  • Support Regional Risk and Compliance team in preparing communications to disseminate updates obtained from Group
  • Prepare responses for Regional Risk and Compliance team to respond to ad hoc requests from project working groups by consolidating relevant information, conducting analysis, and preparing clear, timely responses that support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of risk events and compliance activities.
  • Ensure all reports and related documentations are properly saved in designated shared folders and organized for easy access and reference.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in audit, compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
  • Knowledge of local and international compliance regulations.
  • Relevant Risk Management within insurance industry preferred
  • Educated to a minimum of university standard, preferably with a Business and/or Legal discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization and respond to ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
