About the Role

As the Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring Partior meets its regulatory requirements internationally. You will be responsible for building and assisting with overseeing compliance programs, risk management, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of compliance and risk policies, procedures, and frameworks on a Fit-for-Fintech-Scaleup basis, covering enterprise risks, sanctions and anti-bribery & corruption policies.

  • Provide advice to the company on its AML/CTF compliance programs

  • Collaborate with functional leaders and other internal stakeholders to maintain accuracy of regulatory filings, audits, and third party (e.g. vendor) assessments.

  • Support the risk assessments strategy and conduct the assessment to identify, assess, and monitor key risks, ensuring risk mitigation strategies align with regulatory and business requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments and control evaluations.

  • Design and deliver scalable compliance and risk management training to employees on AML, regulatory updates, financial crime, anti-bribery and corruption risks.

  • Monitor developments in digital asset and financial services regulation as a third party blockchain technology vendor, ensuring Partior remains compliant with evolving legal frameworks.

  • Implement and operate KYB and sanctions screening processes for institutional clients and vendors.

  • Coordinate and support compliance and risk reporting and maintain records for audit and regulatory review.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risks, financial crime, risk management and/or regulatory affairs; preferably in fintech, payments or financial services.

  • Knowledge of AML/CFT and Sanctions regulations (e.g. AML, MiCA, PSA, FATF guidelines)

  • Experience with payments, DeFi, blockchain compliance, crypto custody or institutional digital asset regulations is preferred as directly or thematically relevant fields.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field, Professional certification such as CAMS, ICA, equivalent AML/Compliance, CRM/CRP qualification is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in risk-based compliance frameworks.

  • Digital transformation experience and project management is a plus to contribute to building scalable and technology-assisted processes.
