Risk Analyst (Oil Products)

Job Overview

We are looking for adetail-oriented Risk Analyst to support trading risk management and ensureaccurate monitoring of physical and derivatives exposures. The ideal candidatewill have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of commodity markets,and experience in trade lifecycle and risk reporting, with the ability tomaintain data integrity and collaborate across trading, finance, and operationsteams to support effective risk control and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

. Ensureaccurate and timely capture of all physical and derivatives trades in thein-house ETRM system, maintaining high data integrity standards.

. Monitorand analyse trading exposures across physical and paper portfolios, ensuringcompliance with approved risk limits.

. Prepare,maintain, and upload market prices and forward curves into the ETRM system tosupport accurate mark-to-market valuation and risk reporting.

. Producedaily exposure and P&L reports, providing clear explanations of key driversbehind profit and loss movements.

. Performend-to-end reconciliation across front, middle, and back-office functions,including daily and month-end P&L reconciliation with Finance and HQ,ensuring alignment and timely resolution of discrepancies.

. Supportand maintain hedging documentation, ensuring proper tracking of relationshipsbetween physical exposures and hedging instruments.

. Collaboratewith traders, operations, finance, and IT to resolve system, valuation, anddata issues, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor'sdegree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or otherquantitative disciplines

. 1-2years of experience in commodity market risk, trading support, or related roles

. Understandingof global oil markets, pricing mechanisms, and commodity trading dynamics

. Goodunderstanding of the full trade lifecycle, including front-to-back processes

. Familiaritywith derivatives instruments and their application in hedging strategies

. Advancedproficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with ETRM systems is an advantage

. Stronganalytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment
