Responsibilities
We are looking for a risk analyst to be part of the risk team. The risk analyst will be exposed to a breadth of responsibilities within the risk domain:
- Review the risks relevant to the fund, including investment risk as well as non-investment risks such as FX, liquidity, counterparty, ESG and other risks.
- Support day-to-day activities, including reviewing risk limits and regular reporting.
- Develop portfolio analytics, risk scenarios and back tests to provide a better understanding of the portfolio.
- Work with and maintain the data needed for analysis.
Requirements
Potential risk analysts should demonstrate reliability, resourcefulness, and determination to operate outside their comfort zone. A background in finance, business analytics, statistics, mathematics, statistics, coding, and/or investments would be beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as business analytics, business technology, data analysis, computing, statistics, mathematics, or other relevant fields.
- 2 or more years of relevant working experience would be preferred. Fresh graduates with strong background would be considered.
- Expertise in Python and Excel is necessary.
- Disposition towards statistics-related concepts and techniques such as statistical distributions, regressions, and simulations.
- An eagerness to learn and grow a career in the risk domain is necessary. This role does not provide a pathway to the front office.
