Role Overview:
As a member of the Risk team, the person will be responsible for daily risk monitoring as well as various quantitative projects that help to enhance the risk infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist in regular risk reporting, including tracking portfolio exposures and liquidity metrics
- Validate and update risk datasets using internal tools and market data platforms
- Monitor market movements and flag potential breaches of risk thresholds
Risk Projects
- Engage in quantitative and analytics projects e.g. develop tools to visualize risk metrics like concentration risk, factor exposures
- Collaborate in designing data structures, pipelines and automation
Requirements:
- Strong Python, Excel VBA, and SQL skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative or developer field preferred
- Good understanding of risk management and derivatives
- Passionate about Financial markets and programming
- Pro-active personality and able to work autonomously
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, can work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, English is a must
