Our client is looking for an RF MEMS Metamaterial Researcher to join the team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled RF MEMS & Metamaterial Researcher to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), RF MEMS switch, Metamaterial (MM), particularly in the design, development, and optimization of RF MEMS. You will play a key role in advancing our RF MEMS technology and contributing to the development of next-generation RF solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on the development of RF MEMS switch, MEMS impedance tuner, phase shifter or MEMS antenna.
- Design and develop various types of RF MEMS systems and components and verification throughout a product design cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate MEMS technology into products.
- Perform simulations and modelling to predict performance and optimize designs.
- Build the experimental platform and conduct experiments to verify performance.
- Oversee testing and validation of RF MEMS prototypes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in MEMS technology and RF engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, and any related field.
- Proven experience in MEMS design and fabrication, specifically in RF applications.
- Experiences in RF MEMS Switch, RF MEMS impedance tuner, phase shifter, RF MEMS antenna or metamaterials.
- Experiences with RF test equipment such as vector network analyzer (VNA), spectrum analyser, etc.
- Proficiency in CAD software, MEMS simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL),and EM modelling and analysis software tools (e.g., HFSS, CST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experiences with RF MEMS switch, impedance tuner, or phase shifter design.
- Knowledge of materials science as it relates to MEMS fabrication.
- Familiarity with product development cycles and project management.
