Job Description
We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to support the financial operations of a major digital marketplace across Southeast Asia and India. Based in Singapore, you will play a key role in managing revenue processes, delivering accurate financial insights, and partnering with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth platform operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOrdertoCash Process Oversight
- Oversee the full ordertocash accounting workflow within a managed service provider (MSP) model.
- Track MSP performance against key metrics such as sales and settlement reconciliations.
- Review variances and prepare monthend revenue accruals.
- Address escalations, coach MSP teams, and continuously refine procedures for improved compliance and efficiency.
Financial Reporting & CrossFunctional Alignment
- Prepare monthly financial analyses and reporting packs for the digital marketplace business.
- Work closely with regional Corporate Accounting to assess accounting impacts of platform or process changes.
- Partner with Country Controller and Tax teams to support statutory and tax compliance needs.
Business Support & Operational Excellence
- Provide daytoday support for marketplace operations, including retail campaign mechanisms, collections, data accuracy, and charge validation.
- Collaborate with Business, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to resolve operational or system interface issues.
- Participate in system testing and recommend enhancements to strengthen processes and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline steps within the ordertocash cycle to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Revenue And AR Accountant Should Have
- CA/CPA and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience with accounting and reconciliations in high-volume data environments.
- Proficiency in SAP and automation, data tools is a plus.
- Experience in revenue recognition and end-to-end accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to translate data into actionable
