Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant with a strong background in full-cycle accounting and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in revenue accounting, possess strong analytical and process-oriented skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. This role requires proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP. CPA certification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee revenue accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform full-cycle revenue accounting including revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Review and analyze revenue transactions to ensure accurate and timely recording.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits related to revenue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales Operations, and other departments to resolve revenue-related issues.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support system enhancements within Oracle Cloud ERP.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Revenue Accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes and revenue recognition principles (e.g., ASC 606 / IFRS 15 knowledge preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Public accounting or technical revenue recognition experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
