INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR | NON-LISTED REGIONAL FINTECH PART OF A LARGER GROUP

Our Client is a well-known central bank regulated financial institution of significant profile, with its parent company listed in a major financial exchange. It is seeking to bring in an Independent Non-Executive Director to its Board.

The Board's overall role includes providing leadership, as well as approving and overseeing the implementation of the FI's strategic direction and overall business objectives, taking into account the need to safeguard customers interests. Other responsibilities include - provide oversight of senior management, and ensure that the knowledge and expertise of senior management and key persons in control job functions remain appropriate given the risk profile and nature of the business; and to ensure that senior management carries out the day-to-day operations in accordance with the code of conduct and ethics, business objectives and strategies and long-term interests and viability

The incoming Independent Director shall come with 20+ financial institution experience as a reputable former Senior Banker based out of Singapore. A background in consumer/commercial banking and prior board experience shall be viewed favourably. The nomination to the Board is expected to take place in H1 2027.
