What will I do on a day-to-day basis

This role is responsible for driving retail performance and achieving commercial objectives through effective leadership and operational excellence. It focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences, mentoring a high-performing sales teams, and ensuring continuously elevated showroom standards. The position requires strong commercial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to implement strategies that maximise sales, maintain profitability, and enhance client relationships.

  • Deliver Commercial Results: Drive achievement of monthly and annual sales targets, monitor pipelines, and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Lead Retail Operations: Oversee showroom operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Champion Client Experience: Foster a client-first culture and deliver exceptional service across all client touchpoints to build loyalty and grow revenue.
  • Develop and Mentor Teams: Recruit, train, and coach retail consultants to achieve high performance and improve conversion rates.
  • Maintain Showroom Standards & Inventory: Ensure showroom presentation, merchandising, and inventory integrity are consistently upheld to support sales objectives.
  • Collaborate and Execute Initiatives: Work with internal teams to streamline processes, coordinate promotional events, and support business growth.

What do I need to be successful in this role

  • Proven sales, coaching and leadership experience, ideally in commercial furniture or design-related industries
  • Passion for design, architecture, and furniture, with a strong appreciation for aesthetics and functionality to bring exceptional experiences and build lasting relationships with clients
  • Operational Excellence with a strong commitment to integrity by maintaining showroom standards, compliance, and operational consistency that reflects our brand promise
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate brand value and solutions clearly
  • Established network of industry contacts, particularly within or adjacent to the A&D sector
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a results-driven mindset
