Job Title: Retail Sales Merchandiser
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Sales Merchandiser to manage and grow our product presence across key supermarket chains, including NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong, and DFI Retail Group . The role focuses on driving sales, ensuring optimal shelf visibility, and maintaining strong relationships with store personnel and buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchandising & Store Execution: Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and aligned with planogram standards. Monitor shelf placement, pricing, and promotional displays across assigned outlets. Implement in-store promotions, POS materials, and product launches
- Sales Growth & Performance: Drive sell-through and achieve assigned sales targets. Identify opportunities to increase shelf space and product listings. Track competitor activity and provide market insights
- Account & Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with store managers/supervisors. Coordinate with NTUC, Sheng Siong, and DFI outlets on promotions and stock replenishment. Resolve in-store issues promptly (e.g. stock shortages, pricing discrepancies)
- Inventory & Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment. Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams for delivery and restocking. Minimize out-of-stock situations
- Reporting & Feedback:Submit regular sales and merchandising reports. Provide feedback on product performance, customer preferences, and market trends
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of merchandising or retail sales experience. Proven experience working with NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong, and/or DFI Retail Group. Familiar with supermarket operations, planograms, and retail execution standards
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skillsGood negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Other Requirements: Able to travel across multiple retail locations. Physically fit (able to handle product stocking when required) Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Existing relationships with buyers or store managers in key chains
- Experience in FMCG, household, DIY, or consumer goods categories
