Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for providing good customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. This role includes both sales and cashiering responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide good customer service.
- Assist customers in finding products, answering inquiries, and offering product recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and process various forms of payment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and cashier area.
- Stock and replenish merchandise on shelves and displays as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and tagging new merchandise.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and store policies.
Requirements:
- Previous retail or cashiering experience is a plus but not required (training will be provided).
- Fresh graduates from Nitec or Higher Nitec are welcome.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
- Willing to work on Saturdays.
