Retail & Photography Sales Crew

The Retail & Photography Sales Crew is responsible for driving revenue and enhancing the guest experience through the proactive sale of merchandise and professional photography services. This includes managing point-of-sale (POS) transactions, stock replenishment, and capturing high-quality guest memories. All activities must align with the terms of service agreed with our Clients, ensuring the safety of guests and the security of all retail and imaging equipment in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.

Resourceful and sales-oriented, he/she is expected to have a basic technical understanding of photography equipment, digital imaging systems, and retail displays. He/she leverages tactical knowledge to provide hands-on guidance to the team, possessing a strong service mindset to anticipate guest needs and upsell with integrity.

Due to the operational nature of the role, he/she must maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. He/she will also assist the Retail/Operations Supervisor in executing any tasks required by the Company.

Key Tasks for the Role

Daily Sales & Revenue Operations

• Responsible for the day-to-day retail and photography operations for the company and/or Clients.

• Support POS operations, including cash handling, digital payments, and end-of-day reconciliation.

• Actively engage guests to promote photography packages, add-on retail items, and membership benefits.

• Manage daily opening and closing tasks, including inventory counts, display tidying, and sales reporting.

• Monitor stock levels and assist in the replenishment of merchandise to ensure visual standards are met.

Drive Customer Service & Sales Excellence

• Implement customer service procedures to create a welcoming and high-energy sales environment.

• Resolve escalated guest issues regarding product quality or photography digital delivery.

• Assist in analysing sales data and guest feedback to understand purchasing behaviour and improve conversion rates.

• Ensure the Guest Journey is seamless from the initial photo capture to the final retail purchase.

Safety, Security, and Equipment Care

• Maintain and safely operate photography equipment (cameras, lighting, printers) and retail fixtures.

• Execute health and safety, emergency response, and risk assessment protocols within the retail and photo zones.

• Ensure the security of stock and prevent shrinkage through vigilant floor awareness.

• Liaise with the Attractions Support Team for any maintenance issues regarding digital kiosks or POS hardware.

• Assist in preparing incident reports and execute emergency response procedures when necessary.
