Position Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Retail Operations Manager to oversee and drive the performance of multiple retail outlets. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end retail operations, optimizing store performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and implementing strategies to enhance revenue and customer experience. The candidate will play a key role in standardizing processes, improving productivity, and supporting the company's expansion and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations across multiple retail outlets, ensuring consistent execution of company standards and operational procedures
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve sales performance, cost efficiency, and overall profitability
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales revenue, inventory turnover, shrinkage, and store productivity
Oversee inventory management, including stock planning, replenishment, and minimizing wastage or stock discrepancies
Ensure optimal staffing levels, staff performance, and workforce planning across outlets
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in store operations and customer service
Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality
Coordinate with procurement, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow and availability
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including hygiene, safety, and licensing standards
Handle escalated operational issues, customer complaints, and risk management matters
Support new store openings, including setup, staffing, and operational readiness
Prepare and present operational reports, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to management
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or related field
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in retail operations, preferably in multi-outlet environments
Strong experience in managing store operations, inventory control, and staff supervision
Proven track record in improving operational performance and achieving sales targets
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills
Experience in retail chains dealing with daily-use or essential products
Knowledge of retail systems, POS operations, and inventory management tools
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Experience in expansion or multi-store operations management
