ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Commercial & Financial Performance
. Own and deliver the regional retail P&L, including sales targets, profitability, and operational budgets for all stores in South East Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
. Constantly monitor and analyze market performance, sales KPIs, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks, establishing and implementing robust commercial action plans.
. Drive omni-channel sales initiatives by leveraging all available tools and ensuring a seamless integration between physical retail and digital touchpoints.
. Optimize store-level profitability through effective management of payroll, inventory, and operational expenses.
Team Leadership & Development
. Attract, manage, develop, inspire, and empower a high-performing team of Store Managers and retail professionals.
. Build a strong leadership pipeline by implementing succession planning, coaching, and effective performance development processes for the entire retail team.
. Plan and lead regional meetings and briefings to communicate strategy, set objectives, and align the team on brand and business priorities.
. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving work environment that encourages ownership and initiative.
Brand & Customer Experience
. Act as the ultimate Brand Ambassador in the region, ensuring the consistent conveyance of the Golden Goose vision, heritage, and values to both teams and clients.
. Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring the selling ceremony, up-selling, cross-selling, and co-creation services are flawlessly executed in every store.
. Enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction by driving database development and personalized client relationship strategies.
. Ensure the overall store presentation, visual merchandising, and grooming standards impeccably reflect the brand's image.
Retail Operations & Compliance
. Supervise and coordinate all retail activities to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of operational tasks across all stores, with a sharp focus on SOPs.
. Ensure effective stock management and back-of-house operations, including goods receiving, transfers, stocktakes, and reporting.
. Guarantee that all corporate rules and regulations concerning business, governance, Compliance (including GDPR and local data laws), and Health & Safety are fully implemented and adhered to.
. Oversee the rollout and adoption of all IT and digital commercial tools and systems.
Business & Network Development
. Support the General Manager in defining the long-term retail strategy, including network growth, new store openings, and market expansion in South East Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
. Analyze the competitive landscape and consumer insights to provide strategic feedback to Area Management, Merchandising, and Marketing teams.
Job Requirements
Hard skills
. Fluency in English is required for this role , as it involves regular work-related communication with the Global HQ in Italy and the APAC HQ in Shanghai, China.
. Additional language knowledge will be considered as plus, reflecting our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
. Proven track record (10+ years) in senior retail management, with P&L responsibility for a multi-store region in South East Asia and Australia. Experience in Japan is a strong plus.
. Strong financial and business acumen, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.
. Deep understanding of the luxury/fashion retail landscape in Mainland China and Taiwan.
. Proficiency in retail operations, inventory management, and relevant legal/compliance requirements.
