Job responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate and support end-to-end retail store technology projects across SEA, including store openings, relocations, renovations, pop-up stores, closures, and store refresh activities.
- Act as the key coordinator between Brand Retail Operations, Store Planning, Store Teams, IT teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide on-site support during critical store activities, support regional initiatives, pilot projects, technology rollouts, business transformation activities, and perform other duties assigned by management.
Project Planning & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, risk logs, action lists, and documentation while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and follow up on outstanding tasks, dependencies, procurement activities, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
- Identify project risks, issues, and delays, escalating them with appropriate mitigation plans where necessary.
Technology Deployment & Vendor Management
- Coordinate IT equipment procurement, staging, deployment, logistics, installation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), equipment readiness, and First Business Day (FBD) support.
- Work closely with IT teams (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Service Desk, Retail Applications, and End User Support) to ensure project readiness.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, logistics partners, and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Reporting, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Support project purchase requisitions, vendor quotation follow-up, invoice validation, and prepare project reports, status updates, and management presentations.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing project processes, documentation, communication, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, security policies, and project delivery processes.
Travel Requirement
- Travel within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region is required based on project needs.
Requirement:
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting retail technology, store projects, or IT implementation, preferably within the luxury retail industry.
- Strong project coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver within tight timelines.
- Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and communication skills, with experience collaborating across regional or multi-country teams, different cultures, and business functions.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, action logs, and follow up on deliverables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Experience supporting store openings, relocations, blueprint/floor plan reviews, POS deployment, IT infrastructure rollout, or retail technology implementation is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMP, or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and project tracking tools.
