Job Description

Objectives of the role:

  1. To support BDM to hand in hand achieve sell in, sell out, gross margin and EBITDA growth objectives across the region
  2. Primary contact and point of co-ordination for all customers within the specific territory
  3. To protect or improve brand visibility and strength of presence in territory in charge
  4. To lead team of coordinators and beauty advisors towards better sales excellence

Responsibilities:

Sell-in & Sell out

  • Establish and upkeep strong partnership with agents and customer accounts
  • Close communication with agents/buyers on purchase orders and proposals of sell in (ie. Newness availability, out of stock items, promotion items top-up etc.)
  • Provide service to accounts requirements (ie. Handle requests, complaints, issues, enquiries etc.)
  • Prompt follow up and proactive actions to be taken with a strong sense of urgency
  • Pro-actively seek opportunities to expand brand sales and brand exposures/ visibility
  • Manage cuts and work on possible back orders diligently
  • Plan the allocation and requisition of GWPs, samples, testers etc. to ensure a successful retail sell out while keeping within budget
  • Propose customized marketing calendar and GWP/ promotions mechanics for approval
  • Maximize stocks fulfillment rate of orders by pre-checking stocks availability and suggesting alternatives when necessary
  • Drive and manage retailers e-platform with marketing team
  • Manage and upkeep updated price lists assortment regularly
  • Manage accounts stock health level diligently, checking for overstocks and understocks situation
  • Support budget planning process and to work on annual marketing calendars and implementation plans
  • Analyze sales reports and trends to identify opportunities and actions needed

Counter Management

  • Collaborate actively with agents and marketing on marketing initiatives and VM display elements to ensure successful activations
  • Collaborate with marketing on timely seasonal light box visual updates
  • Ensure effective visual merchandising and store planograms in line with Marketing and Brand guidelines
  • Manage the forecasting, ordering and distribution of promotion collaterals

BA Management

  • Propose customized monthly staff incentive programs for approval
  • Lead, manage and motivate team of coordinators and beauty advisors towards 360 sales excellence (customer service, sales productivity, brand loyalty, internal team cohesiveness, and external team support)
  • Facilitate on-counter coaching and training when necessary
  • Garner generics sales staff support towards brand
  • Coordinate classroom training sessions with Regional Trainer
  • Assist on organizing the BA seminar

Other Administrative Support

  • Review quotations, perform purchase requisitions and follow up on necessary support functions between the Agents/Customers and the Accounts Department
  • Follow through and resolve daily administrative, operational or logistical issues
  • Follow through on all internal operational paperwork, including but not limited to CRFs, CERs, DN/CNs, PRs, returns, sales analysis reports etc

Note : Any other ad-hoc projects/responsibilities as required by the position from time to time

Qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Experience in a similar capacity in a cosmetics company is an added advantage
  • University Graduate
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to fine details
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Proactive analytical mind with the ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Customers and service oriented
  • Hands-on, proactive, leads by example
  • Effective communicator, internally and externally, verbally and in written
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), able to speak Chinese fluently. Ability to read and write Chinese fluently is an added advantage
  • Proficient with Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Occasional travel is needed
  • Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Assistant Retail Development Manager
