Job Summary

Retail Cashiers maintain high customer service standards, operate sales transactions accurately and efficiently, manage cash register duties, and safeguard company assets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

1. Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) equipment to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
2. Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers and addressing their needs promptly
3. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier counter and surrounding store areas
4. Manage inventory of cashier supplies such as plastic bags, PAID stickers, NETS paper, audit rolls, and credit card machine materials
5. Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming
6. Promote and encourage customers to sign up for Best Denki membership via the mobile app
7. Assist in sales of products and extended warranty offerings
8. Safeguard company assets by following cash handling and security procedures set by the company
9. Adapt to rotating shifts including full shifts, weekends, and public holidays
10. Communicate effectively in Basic English to support customer interactions and work well with the team

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English
