Job Summary
Prepare and handle meat products safely and hygienically while maintaining stock quality and cleanliness. Provide courteous customer service and support daily operations in a food retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meat products by cutting, mincing, and packing according to Food Hygiene and Safety Procedures
- Replenish stock using FIFO method to maintain product quality and freshness
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure a sanitary work environment
- Respond to customer requests politely and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction
- Execute additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor to support operational needs
Required Competencies and Certifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of meat handling and cutting techniques to ensure safe and quality preparation
- Hold WSQ Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene to comply with food safety standards
- Possess prior working experience in a food-related industry to perform tasks effectively
- Commit to a 5.5-day work week on a shift basis, including willingness to work weekend
