The Retail Associate / Retail Sales Executive / Retail Supervisor supports store performance by providing attentive customer service, promoting products, and maintaining an organised shopping environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers, explaining product features, processing purchases, replenishing stock, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Retail Associate positions focus on customer assistance, checkout activities, and daily store upkeep. Retail Sales Executive positions identify customer needs, recommend suitable products, and work towards individual and store sales targets. Retail Supervisor positions coordinate shifts, guide team members, handle escalated concerns, and oversee opening and closing activities. All positions collaborate with store teams to maintain stock accuracy, follow store procedures, and deliver a consistent customer experience.

Qualifications

Secondary school qualification, diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
Ability to understand customer needs and explain product features and promotions clearly.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, payment handling, and basic stock procedures.
Attention to detail when processing transactions, checking stock, and arranging displays.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing tasks during busy periods.
Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required.
Commercial awareness and motivation to contribute to sales and service targets.
For supervisor positions, experience coordinating store activities, coaching employees, resolving customer concerns, and supporting cash and inventory controls.
