Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently to record, accept, and verify payments (Cash, NETS, Credit Cards, and Digital Wallets).
Proactively share product knowledge with customers (e.g., origin of food items, cooking tips, or best-sellers).
Recommend complementary products or current Purchase-with-Purchase (PWP).
Introduce new product arrivals or seasonal specials to customers during the checkout process.
Greet customers warmly, handle inquiries about product availability, and manage basic feedback or returns professionally.
Stay updated on current store promotions, member loyalty programs, and seasonal discounts to advise customers accurately.
Assist in replenishing stocks on shelves and ensuring products are displayed according to quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cashier counter and surrounding retail floor.
Perform cash float verification at the start of shifts and daily cash/credit settlements at the end of the day.
Requirements
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
to assist a diverse range of customers.
Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
Good with simple math and basic computer use
Confident in talking to people and good at suggesting items to customers.
Must be able to carry loads up to 25kg for stock replenishment.
Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and Public Holidays.Friendly, helpful, and enjoys interacting with different people every day
