We are seeking a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to support daily store operations while delivering a high standard of customer experience and driving sales performance. In this role, you will engage customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, sales-driven, and able to work independently in a retail environment. Prior retail experience is preferred. Candidates should be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Drive sales through customer engagement and product recommendation
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and improving store performance
- Deliver high standards of customer service and handle enquiries professionally
- Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising standards
- Support stock replenishment, stock arrangement, and basic inventory control
- Assist in stock receiving and ensure proper organisation of inventory
- Handle POS transactions and process payments accurately
- Support cash handling and basic reconciliation
- Follow company policies and ensure operational consistency on the shop floor
- Carry out additional operational duties as required
