Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Area Manager to oversee and manage the operations, sales performance, customer service standards, and staff productivity across multiple retail outlets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving business growth, maintaining brand and service standards, and supporting the achievement of the company's commercial objectives.

The Retail Area Manager will play a key role in supervising outlet performance, leading store teams, implementing sales and operational strategies, and ensuring consistency across all assigned locations. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, customer service orientation, and the ability to manage day-to-day retail operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be prepared to support the operational requirements of the business, including working on weekends and public holidays, and overseeing the opening and closing of retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail outlets to ensure smooth and efficient business performance.
  • Monitor outlet operations to ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and retail service standards.
  • Ensure all assigned retail outlets maintain a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, merchandising, and operational readiness.
  • Oversee and supervise the opening and closing of retail outlets, ensuring compliance with company operational procedures and service standards.
  • Drive outlet sales performance and ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals across assigned stores.
  • Analyze sales reports, outlet performance data, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, promotional activities, and sales initiatives to improve overall retail performance.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate outlet managers, supervisors, and frontline retail staff to achieve operational and sales objectives.
  • Monitor staff performance and productivity across all assigned outlets.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of retail staff to maintain service and operational standards.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained across all outlets.
  • Handle escalated customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement customer service improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory movement, and product availability across assigned outlets in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control measures, safety requirements, and company operational standards.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on outlet performance, sales results, customer feedback, and operational matters.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, marketing, finance, and management to support business objectives.
  • Travel between assigned retail outlets as required.
  • Be willing and able to work on weekends and public holidays based on operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • No Formal Education Required
  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in retail operations, outlet management, area/sales supervision, or sales management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and lead teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Experience in sales performance management, customer service operations, and retail staff supervision.
  • Ability to analyze operational and sales performance data and implement practical improvement measures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems.
  • Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in overseeing outlet opening and closing operations will be an advantage.
