Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee retail operations across Singapore and Malaysia, driving brand growth, operational excellence, and sales performance through strategic leadership and multi-store management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of retail operational strategies to enhance brand marketing, product management, retail promotions, visual merchandising, and store maintenance across Singapore and Malaysia
- Direct and motivate store managers to consistently achieve sales targets and operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Develop and implement retail strategies tailored to different business stages to drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency
- Ensure consistent application of brand image, retail standards, and promotional guidelines at all store locations to maintain brand integrity
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to provide strategic input on product planning and assortment selection that meets market demands
- Manage operational documentation and reporting to support informed decision-making and compliance
- Monitor retail operational performance and proactively resolve issues, including effective crisis management when necessary
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel to analyze and report retail performance data
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to make independent decisions and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher education qualification
- Minimum 5 years of retail industry experience, preferably with frontline operational exposure
- Proven experience managing multi-store operations or large-format retail stores
