Restaurant Supervisor (New Opening)

About the Role
The Social Hub Restaurant and Caf is an exciting new initiative by Metropolitan YMCA - a welcoming space where people connect over good food, meaningful conversations, and community impact.

We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure our restaurant and caf deliver excellent service, quality food, and a positive experience for every guest. This role combines hands-on leadership with a heart for hospitality, teamwork, and community service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant and caf operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food quality and hygiene
  • Lead, train, and motivate service staff to provide warm and attentive customer service
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
  • Manage reservations, inventory, and cash handling procedures
  • Support events and community engagement activities hosted at the Social Hub

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in F&B or caf operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a hands-on approach and commitment to excellence
  • Passion for people, community service, and inclusive employment
