Restaurant manager

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service, outstanding guest satisfaction, and efficient management of staff and resources. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

. Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.

. Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.

. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

. Monitor inventory, manage supplier orders, and control operational costs.

. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain food quality and consistency.

. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, enhance guest loyalty, and improve overall efficiency.

. Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll in coordination with HR.

. Plan and oversee special events, promotions, and private dining experiences.

Qualifications:

. Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.

. Strong leadership and team management skills.

. Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.

. Solid understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and industry best practices.

. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with professionalism.

. Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, inventory tools).

. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

. Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.

Requirements

Qualifications - diploma or high school diploma

Work experience- at least one year working experience in related fields
