Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Origin Grill, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest experience.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the restaurant service team to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and personalised dining experience aligned with Shangri‑La standards.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service.
- Manage reservations, seating plans, and table turnover to optimise guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with service procedures, brand standards, and grooming guidelines.
- Monitor and manage labour costs, scheduling, and manpower planning effectively.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock control for restaurant supplies and beverages.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution and recovery.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards within the restaurant.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events to enhance restaurant performance.
- Prepare operational reports and work closely with management to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in a restaurant management role.
- Strong experience in managing upscale or fine‑dining restaurant operations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong understanding of service excellence, wine knowledge, and guest engagement.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, labour costs, and operational expenses.
- Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure hospitality environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of hygiene, safety regulations, and service compliance standards.
