Job Summary
Manage the operations of a newly opening restaurant by leading staff scheduling, ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and halal standards, and coordinating with online delivery partners to deliver seamless service.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of a newly opening restaurant to ensure operational readiness and success
- Develop and implement staff rosters and manage off days to optimize workforce availability
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Ensure all halal requirements are fully met and maintained throughout restaurant operations
- Oversee smooth functioning of daily operations and service delivery to meet customer expectations
- Coordinate and manage relationships with online delivery partners to enhance service reach and efficiency
- Adapt work schedules to accommodate shift work, busy periods, public holidays, and weekends
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a Master's Degree with relevant industry experience
- Demonstrate leadership skills to effectively manage teams and operations
- Exhibit strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and partners
- Apply technical knowledge relevant to restaurant management and operations
- Have thorough knowledge of halal requirements (qualification in halal standards is an added advantage)
