Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate restaurant staff to maintain efficient and effective daily operations
- Uphold stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant
- Communicate sales, service, and food quality KPIs proactively to employees to drive team performance
- Motivate and collaborate closely with the team to achieve shared goals
- Develop and implement operating procedures and standards aligned with company objectives
- Manage cashiering processes ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Monitor and minimize wastage of consumables and maintain labor productivity ratios
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to comments, requests, and complaints
- Take personal responsibility to resolve guest issues effectively
- Manage Human Resources functions including hiring, training, performance feedback, recognition, and succession planning within assigned departments
- Promote a work environment that fosters teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain and update guest profiles daily, taking appropriate actions as needed
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management
- Apply knowledge of F&B operations, quality management, and Microsoft Office to support administrative tasks
- Utilize a team-oriented management approach with open communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in challenging situations
- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of wine and sake is a plus
- Minimum 2 years experience in fine dining restaurants specializing in Japanese cuisine
