Job Description:
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including dining service and kitchen coordination.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet authentic Chinese cuisine standards.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
- Manage staff schedules, manpower planning, and shift assignments.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner.
- Monitor inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock ordering.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Oversee cash handling, sales reporting, and financial performance of the restaurant.
- Plan and implement promotions, seasonal menus, and festive events (e.g., Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival).
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain service consistency.
- Work closely with management on marketing strategies, budgeting, and business growth.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, F&B, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Chinese restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, dining etiquette, and restaurant operations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a multicultural team and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and sales performance.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
