Job Description

Working Location: Suntec City

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including dining service and kitchen coordination.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet authentic Chinese cuisine standards.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Manage staff schedules, manpower planning, and shift assignments.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
  • Oversee cash handling, sales reporting, and financial performance of the restaurant.
  • Plan and implement promotions, seasonal menus, and festive events (e.g., Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival).
  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain service consistency.
  • Work closely with management on marketing strategies, budgeting, and business growth.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, F&B, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Chinese restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, dining etiquette, and restaurant operations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a multicultural team and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and sales performance.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
