Job Description

  • Handling reservations, home deliveries & general inquiries.
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas, respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
  • Taking orders, opening bills, presenting bills, and closing bills
  • Serving food, clearing courses if required and shorthanded
  • Oversee and manage food service of the restaurant.
  • Briefing the waiters, servers and trainees
  • Topping up the side stations, Replenishing the ingredients
  • Requesting supplies
  • Receiving and storing the goods and supplies at proper places
  • Leading a team of waiters, servers and service trainees
  • Arranging and stacking the crockery and cutlery.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Maintain safe, secure and healthy environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, glassware, dinnerware, & utensil quality & placement, monitoring food presentation & service.
  • Reporting to assistant restaurant manager
  • Working closely and assist the restaurant manager in his and work in his capacity in his absence.
  • Passing his knowledge and skills ( eg. Up selling) to, servers, waiters and trainees
