Resident Technical Officer

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor contractors daily activity, site progress, schedule, and safety on site

Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP/Superintending Officer/Consultant/Employer

Review and check all the drawings, and specifications, and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings.

Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress, and non-conformances/irregularities to QP/Consultants/Employer.

Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.

Prepare lists of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works, and ensure all the defects are

satisfactorily rectified.

To ensure all the construction works have complied with statutory requirements

Requirements

Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate

Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.

At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Shall have a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course

Candidates with civil/infrastructure experience will be considered earlier.

Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills
