Job Summary
Supervise and inspect siteworks to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with stakeholders to resolve site issues and support project completion.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect siteworks to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
- Monitor workmanship, materials, project progress, and site safety to identify and report non-compliant works promptly
- Witness inspections and testing, maintaining clear and accurate site reports and records
- Coordinate with Resident Engineers (RE), Qualified Persons (QP), EPC contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve site-related matters efficiently
- Monitor defects and oversee rectification work until satisfactory completion
- Support authority inspections, project handover, and other project-related duties
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold IES/ACES accreditation as a Registered Technical Officer (RTO) or Qualified Site Supervisor with a valid practicing certificate
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Building Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized Polytechnic or University
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant site supervision experience
- Apply knowledge of Singapore construction practices, government permitting, and statutory requirements effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working with structural steel projects
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in English, both written and spoken
