Resident Technical Officer (M&E)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect M&E works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and relevant regulations.
• Conduct daily site inspections and monitor installation of M&E systems.
• Ensure works comply with Singapore building regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Witness testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Identify site issues and recommend timely solutions and mitigation measures.
• Provide progress updates and site reports.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, approvals and documentation.

Requirements

• Accredited RTO (M&E) with IES.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in M&E supervision for building projects.
• At least 5 years experience in condominium projects preferred.
• Experience in PPVC construction and prefab MEP systems in an advantage.
• Familiar with ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building codes and construction practices.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
