Provide full-time site supervision of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE), Consultant, or Client to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and statutory requirements.
Monitor and inspect all M&E installation works on site, ensuring proper workmanship, quality control, and adherence to project schedules.
Identify potential M&E-related issues on site and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant parties to implement corrective actions in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
Attend daily site coordination meetings and participate in joint site inspections with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Inspect and verify all M&E materials delivered to site to ensure they comply with approved material submissions and project specifications.
Review Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures and witness M&E testing activities both on-site and at factories when required.
Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical equipment including high-voltage panels, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) panels, and related systems prior to delivery to site.
Witness and verify electrical testing activities such as relay testing, primary injection testing of HT panels, and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) load testing from 0% to 100%.
Witness Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning of electrical systems including VFDs, MCC panels, and associated equipment.
Inspect installation and operation of induction motor drives and verify performance parameters against design specifications.
Carry out inspections for FM200 fire suppression systems prior to Request for Inspection (RFI).
Witness testing and commissioning of addressable fire alarm systems and ensure compliance with fire safety requirements.
Verify Mechanical Ventilation (MV) system testing to confirm performance in accordance with design criteria, including integrated services testing under fire mode operation.
Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, test records, and correspondence related to M&E works, and ensure proper documentation and updating of as-built drawings.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E site supervision, preferably in building construction projects.
Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes of practice, and statutory authority requirements.
Experience in Wet Laboratory, Chemical/Biosafety Facilities, Pharmaceutical, or Hospital projects will be an added advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
