RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (M&E )

Responsibilities:

• Inspect materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved specifications and materials.
• Provide standing supervision as directed by the Resident Engineer, Consultant, or Client's representatives.
• Proactively identify and resolve M&E-related site issues, propose effective solutions, and implement corrective actions to ensure project compliance.
• Attend daily site progress meetings and participate in joint site walks with clients and contractors.
• Review testing and commissioning (T&C) plans and witness M&E testing both on-site and at factories as required.
• Witness and verify site acceptance testing and commissioning of VFDs and MCCs.
• Supervise addressable fire alarm system testing and commissioning.
• Evaluate and witness testing of mechanical ventilation systems against design criteria, including combined services tests under activated fire mode.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all M&E works, inspections, correspondence, and ensure proper documentation of as-built installations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar roles within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of local building regulations and codes of practice.
• Prior experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A), HDB, or LTA projects will be an advantage.
