Technical Supervision & Quality Assurance: Provide authoritative on-site supervision to ensure all M&E installations are executed to the highest standard, in strict compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, and cleanroom protocols.
Construction Safety & Protocol Adherence: Enforce and monitor stringent safety practices and quality control measures to ensure all on-site activities meet project-specific requirements and statutory health and safety regulations.
Materials & Methods Compliance: Meticulously verify that all installation methodologies, work procedures, and materials used are fully aligned with prior consultant and client approvals, ensuring zero deviations that could impact system integrity.
Stakeholder Liaison & Issue Resolution: Act as the primary technical liaison between the consultant team and contractors to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex site installation issues, ensuring uninterrupted workflow and project momentum.
Testing, Commissioning & Validation: Officially witness all mechanical systems testing and commissioning activities. Validate performance against design criteria and compile comprehensive reports for the Consultant, detailing test results, progress, and any non-conformities.
Project Support & Documentation: Execute additional project-related duties, including the meticulous maintenance of site records, progress photography, and contributing to project meeting minutes.
Requirements:
Education & Certification: Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and must be a registered Resident Technical Officer (M&E) with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
Relevant Experience: Min 5 Year of Prior experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects for industrial or factory buildings, Hospital Buildings, particularly those involving cleanroom environments, will be considered a significant advantage.
Technical & Software Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) for generating detailed reports, tracking progress, and managing deliverables.
Regulatory Knowledge: Possess a strong, working knowledge of Singapore Building Control Act, relevant SS/CP codes, and all applicable workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements specific to M&E works and live-site A&A.
Interpersonal Skills: Exemplary communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are critical for effective coordination with a diverse range of stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and client representatives, in a high-stakes project environment.
