Resident Technical Officer

Job description:

1. To assist and report to RE and SRE to monitor all site activities, and any incident, including near-misses. Report any non-complianceto RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).

2. Assist Engineer in carrying out supervision for related works include but not limited to replacement and extension, construction and reconfiguration of viaduct/ bridge works, and associated civil works, proposed new flexible pavement and infrastructure, re-alightment of roadways, fencing and construction.

3. Prepare daily reports at regular basic and as required by clients.

4. Supervise all construction activities and ensure compliance to all plans/drawings, risk assessment and specifications.

5. Willing to work on rotation shifts .

6. Ensure compliance to all health and safety policies.

7. Ensure that contractor and their subcontractor comply with client's safety requirement, and safety checklists are follow.

8. Reject poor quality of works at site and inform RE to raise non-conformance notice.

9. Assist RE to manage and maintain records and documentation on field or site changes and to monitor adherence to construction schedule.

Requirements:

. RTO registration with IES is mandatory

. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

. Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes

. Possess good co-ordination skills, self-motivated, proactive and team player
