Resident Technical Officer (Civil) PUB Waterworks

Job Summary

Support site supervision for a PUB water treatment plant project by ensuring civil and structural works comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards alongside the Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site supervision duties ensuring compliance with the Building Control Act to maintain legal and safety standards
• Verify that civil and structural works strictly follow approved drawings to ensure project accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to resolve site and construction-related issues promptly and effectively
• Communicate clearly and coordinate with team members to support smooth project execution

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Registration with IES as a Resident Technical Officer (Civil)
• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising civil and structural construction works

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Effective communication skills demonstrated through team collaboration and site coordination
